Bonfire announcement!

I know it's been a while, and this one is quite a bit out, but I wanted to make sure that everyone could come. October 25th. My house. Fire. Food. Friends. Fun.

We ended up on WZZM, the front page of the business section in the Grand Rapids Press, the GH Tribune and the local radio station. I haven't checked the Chronicle or the Holland papers yet. I will have to look to see what I can find. *weeeee*

I sent out a quick press release yesterday, Sunflower is opening its doors officially on Thursday. We have a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony with the chamber at 4pm (so tell me, do you think there needs to be a champagne bottle smashed along side the building? bah! what a waste of bubbly yummy-ness).

And for the first time in much too long, I haven't spent the day browsing through the want ads...instead, I meandered around stores and downtown with my friend helping to 'walk' her baby out. She's due soon, but we've spent the last week walking every day. Will it work? I dunno, but it's kept us busy. It's also helped me lose some weight. 7 pound ( Read more... )

I'm employed!  I'm really geeked about it. Not only do I have a job, I have one that is going to be fun, interesting and feed one of my passions. I'm now the General Manager for Sunflower Gourmet. *huge cheesy grins*
